Due to scheduling conflicts with the The Bettendorf Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive Bettendorf, IA.
The Davenport Radio Amateur Club has elected to move its club meetings to the FIRST Monday of each month.
Beginning in February, meetings will still start promptly @ 7:ØØ P.M.

Terry Nixon-WBØVQP - President of the Davenport Radio Amateur Club, with great pleasure announces that W1HAM - Kelly Lovely & WAØYSO - Dave Treimer are the new 2Ø14 D.R.A.C. Hamfest Co Chairmen. The date of November 2nd has been secured for the hamfest to be held same location as last year, Clarion Hotel 5202 Brady Street Davenport, IA.

The 146.88Ø Repeater access tone has been changed. It is now 77 hertz. For a limited period of time the old tone 192.8 hertz will still allow access, however if your radio is set to still decode 192.8, you will not hear anything as the repeater is transmitting the 77 hertz tone. The repeater will be off the air for a couple of days in the next few weeks as the Eldridge Coop does power-washing at the grain elevator. Power will be shut off during that time. The club voted to purchase a new antenna, emergency power battery, and needed antenna adapter.
