The Davenport Radio Amateur Club has elected to move its club meetings to the FIRST Monday of each month.
Beginning in February, meetings will still start promptly @ 7:ØØ P.M.
We are looking for a dedicated club member or two to serve as Hamfest Chairman for the Davenport Hamfest! The club decided at the meeting on February 3rd, 2Ø14
that if no club member or members (co-chairs) comes forward by the close of the regular April meeting that the hamfest will not be held. This was moved, seconded and approved
by the membership present. If there is no hamfest, it will be the first time in well over 4Ø years". Terry Nixon-WBØVQP - President Davenport Radio Amateur Club INC.
The 146.88Ø Repeater access tone has been changed. It is now 77 hertz. For a limited period of time the old tone 192.8 hertz will still allow access,
however if your radio is set to still decode 192.8, you will not hear anything as the repeater is transmitting the 77 hertz tone.
The repeater will be off the air for a couple of days in the next few weeks as the Eldridge Coop does power-washing at the
grain elevator. Power will be shut off during that time. The club voted to purchase a new antenna, emergency power battery,
and needed antenna adapter.
Daylight Savings Time Ends Sunday November 3rd, 2Ø13 @ Ø2ØØ Hours
